Could someone identify this non-pro mask?

I found this in a pro shop in Traverse City, Michigan in the early 80's. It was full fibreglass at the time, I bought it as a novelty, primarily for street hockey with frozen tennis balls. Since it was not molded to my face, it didn't fit very well, was too small. At the time, the combo was becoming more popular, so I took it upon myself to convert it. A 13 year old with a hacksaw and little patience doesn't do quality work, but it helped the mask fit a little better and allowed my face a bit more space.

Although the nose/eye areas have been hacked out, and the cage poorly mounted (and hacksawed from a full HM30), could someone identify the actual mask? It appears to be based on a Fibrosport, but there are no markings/tags to indicate so. I'm thinking it's probably someone's own basement attempt. The original paintjob is the black with yellow, I tried to color in some of the yellow with a black marker, unsuccessfully. The backplate appears to be aftermarket, it's basic plastic.

Thanks. It looks like one, but like I mentioned, it doesn't have any tags/stickers or anything. If I'd only known then what I know now, you can bet I wouldn't have hacked it up!!
