Cobra31 Mask in progress
Im throwing these shots up showing a new builder's beginning efforts. As far as I can tell, this is his 3rd or 4rth effort ever.I try to help him out when I can, and I physically handled this mask last week. It still needs at least 3 more layers, but I was impressed with his symmetry, and how overall smooth the mask was.Cobra 31 has done all the work on this one,and I think hes doing good work. For you new,or novice builders, you can do good work, especially with all the good stuff on this board,
here goes..............Kevin,Motownmasks

Re: Cobra31 Mask in progress
hey motown.. thanks for posting the pics..
i'm not truly thrilled with this mask.. it's my own yes.. but lacks the classic look.. it's got a more modern look to it.. i'm just filing away.. and trying to figure out how to cut the top of the head.. people.. this guy Motown knows his stuff. When it comes to composites and toughness and a mask i would actually consider wearing . This guy taught me all i know and .. i'm novice. but when it comes to making a PROPER mask.to wear. in this day and age.... this is the guy to talk to .. no shortcuts.. Strong,Solid, and Accurate.. Thanks

Re: Cobra31 Mask in progress
Cobra,
Like the look of your Gerry Cheevers mask you posted a while back. Have you finished that one? Would like to see updated pics if you did.
Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

Re: Cobra31 Mask in progress
Mr99 ... That cheevers style mask was just a prototype to check the dimensions of my mold..
it sits as is .. and actually somebody wants to buy it.. i'm contemplating selling it.. as i can take more time on it .. and get it to how i like it.. i'm without my digital camera at the moment so when i get it back i will post some pics for you and the interested buyer.. thanks
