Forehead ridges
Does anyone know who invented forehead ridges? Any information on which mask they first appeared on?

Re: Forehead ridges
After the 1970 playoffs where Palnte got "lunched" he wondered went wrong. The ridges were invented or came about after several impact experiments at the NRC (National Research Council) in Ottawa/Hull. So I guess it was the invention of or by the engineers who conducted the experiments for Fibrosport. I learned this from Jim Homuth who at the same time had decided to make his own mask because he couldn't get Lefty Wilson or Higgins to make him one. Homuth's masks were very similiar in design as a Fibrosport.
