Pete LoPresti wore Bourdon pads his rookie year, 1974-1975 while wearing the holiest-of-holies mega hole mask.

Re: Bourdon Timeline

I just picked up a Bourdon catcher and I must say it's one of my favourite gloves. It's the weird looking one with a 'glove' stitched onto the outer back of the catcher where your hand goes.

For something as old as this, it has one of the best pockets for that era (better than an old John Brown glove).

Does anyone have one out there? Thoughts?

I have this one and I have always loved it. It has a great feel and pucks just get sucked into the triple web. It is a bit heavy though and the cheater is useless. I only wish I hadn't given away the matching blocker 24 years ago.
