Re: How to: Mold an existing mask??

Here's how far I've gotten so far. Two more plaster molds to do ,one of which will be my "lovely" face/head, then sanding and clay tweaking of all four, and I'm ready to start making some masks.
I started to clean off my bench and I'm going to get my fiber supplies, and I think I'm good to go.

Alot of people don't realise how much work it actually is to copy a mask until they do it. They call up people like Tony and think it can be done for [sign in to see URL].. Add up your total hours start to finish and then see what the hourly rate is when your done. It is not worth it unless you charge at least 650 - 1000. Including laying up, cutting sanding painting etc. It IS worth it if you do it for yourself though because labour is free. Materials aren't much.
