Fiberglass rope?

Anyone have a source for fiberglass rope, 1/2 or 3/4"? I've found small amounts locally via a furnace/HVAC company, but 1-2 feet of it isn't going to give me enough to play with to come up with a good looking pretzel for my wall.

Any assistance would be great, I've found bulk sources too, but they want 300+ feet of it minimum order, which doesn't help me. Perhaps some others would like some as well and we can split up an order?

Hope to make a pretzel by this summer!

See if you can find fiberglass yarn, it would have to be fairly large, but that is what they used. Good luck though I saw it on a web site once and can't find it again.

FW WEBB in New Bedford, MA carries the fiberglass rope for boilers. 508-995-9533 is there number. They will be able to cut however much you want off a spool. They are not association with me. I worked there years ago and just called to make sure they still have the stuff, they do.
Good luck,
Jon

I've managed to get a great source on high quality fiberglass rope, and I've gone ahead and bought 60 feet of it.

If anyone wants any, let me know. It's 3/4" thick and relatively cheap as well as easy to ship.
