European goalies
Mask of Swiss goalie Jurg Jäggi of the SC Bern, made in Bratislava CSSR:
Swiss goaltender Rene Kiener -SC Bern- in the late 60, with a Cooper Canada mask. Looks like the first one I had when I was 7 years old (sold as a Tony Esposito mask - see pic).

Re: European goalies
Love the obscure photos, dryden.
The yellow mask has an intersting series of holes at the top; do you suppose that's for mounting to a helmet? I've seen several pics of (unnmamed) Euro-goalies with a player's helmet worn over the front of the forehead of a fiberglass (sic) mask. The holes are too small for ventilation. Any thoughts?

Re: European goalies
Here's another few pics at some European goaltenders.
Goaltender41: do you mean like these pictures?
EDIT: Here's a picture I posted a while ago:
Kenneth Johansson in HV71 wearing a Mylec!

Pelle Lindbergh with Hammarby IK
Pelle again in the 77/78 season. Note the Flyers logo he has on the mask.

Re: European goalies
Cool yellow mask.
It seems like it has Seth Martin characteristics to it.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: European goalies
I was thinking the same thing in regards to Seth - he did definately make masks for European goalies.

Re: European goalies
Eriksson:
Yeah, that's the style: helmet-over-the-mask, just like the three you posted! So, are the small holes at the top of Jaggi's mask for mounting to the helmet? Any thoughts?
