Re: My Sunrez Bar Pretzel Mask

Thanks Neal. And thanks again for helping me find the serial number inside the mask.
I could be wrong but the red looks to be part of ropes of fiberglass inside the bars of the mask.
The longer I have this mask, the more I love it. I feel like I find something new about it every time I pick it up.

Re: My Sunrez Bar Pretzel Mask

Isn't the number inside the mask a pattent number? The one inside mine if you go and type it in on the Canadian Patent Website comes up as the original Pattent for the fiberglass mask registered by BIll Burchmore in the 50's or 60's. Interesting stuff. I think that is what the number is Post the number if you can. I will post mine.

I can't make out all the numbers inside the nose. Here's how they look to me:

You gotta be kidding me, Plante.
That link you provided for the patent is incredible!
How have I missed this being mentioned before?!?
Absolute MUST reading.
Thanks for sharing that.

And Burchmore's patent was granted 50 years ago this June. Happy 50th for the pretzels!

It's really a shame we lost Radbear. He would have gladly taken a picture up his nose.
