Jersey Customization: THANK YOU waltdorholt! GREAT WORK!
If anyone is looking to customize any of their jerseys you need to talk to Charlie (Waltdorholt)
I had a blank PRO Oilers 3rd Jersey (front logo and shoulder patches only) that I received but never wore it much because i like the jerseys I wear to have numbers and sometimes a name on them.
I saw some of the awesome jersey's Charlie has created posted on the board so I sent him a PM.
Couple of weeks later I have this.
It looks incredible.. whats even cooler is that Charlie was able to re-create the one-of-a-kind font the Oilers used.
Well done Charlie! Your work is amazing!
Cheers,
Stu

Thanks Stu! Recreating the hard to find name and number kits is my specialty. All my work looks and feels like the actual game jerseys, and the price is hard to beat.
Let me know if you need any more work done!

And he did a great job recreating the long gone name plates from a couple of my old jerseys.

MORE! Jersey Customization: THANK YOU waltdorholt! GREAT WORK!
Rather than start a new thread, let me add to Hitman's and Neums' huzzah's and "thank youse" to DCS and CD. This was just completed, and shipped. I only have a picture of the back thus far:
In addition to the "1" that had gone missing, the "Y" began to peel, and the jersey was torn between the "Y" and "N".
Echoing the Flyers of the 70's, pro stitching now covers all the old iron-on, laundered-off vinyl. The shoulder numbers were a surprise bonus. The front "reveal" will be early next week when I receive it. Cain't hardly wait!
'Til Tuesday!

Here is my 1986 IHL Peoria Rivermen jersey restored with a new name plate. By the time the jersey ended up in my hands, the original name plate was long gone. I think at least two other players wore that shirt besides me. Matches the sample picture I sent on the right.

Re: Jersey Customization: THANK YOU waltdorholt! GREAT WORK!
Here's the front reveal. Got the jersey IN San Francisco, in '03, and found the patch in a Sports Collectibles shop in San Jose on the same trip.
Funky as all get out, I know, but this is when Nike was new to hockey, and they were trying LOTS of clothing like this in the US. It's an XXL, and is a stretch polyester, and is a BEAST. Purchased to wear, it has over 150 games-worn, and an undefeated championship in it. Still hangs and fits better than any other jersey I've had. Original name and # were rink rules, and I had the rink apply only their usual. CD fixed that! Thanks again, man!
