Best out there today?

When you are not allowed by rules to use your glass masks what do you wear, and why?

When I finished playing I was in one of Don Strauss’ combos. I did a lot of research and talked with a lot of my fellow trainers before deciding on that mask, it was not the most stylish thing made, but I did feel safe in it and I got clocked a couple of times while wearing it.

If I was still at it I think a Sportsmask MAGE would be my choice today.

A custom-molded Ed Cubberly would be my choice. Because Ed's still making them, and could adopt the things I would want. Several of those aspects were features of Don's Armadilla masks like the overbuilt forehead and crown for additional padding, and a Convex HECC cage. The Mage, and even Thomas' new "weirdness" have a broader profile, a lot like and HM30. The narrower jaw, plus the one-piece construction just seem necessary against today's shooters. Whew!
