Lefebvre leg pads, deal??

Hey guys, I can get a set of white 34" Lefebvre leg pads in excellent shape, $[sign in to see URL] Are these considered collectibles like vintage Brown or Bordoun pads?

 emoticon
To some , yes . I think most guys would agree that the change from tan leather to coloured pads was the end of one era and the start of another , the transition to modern day pads . Likely be of interest to a few guys that wore them or looking for a certain look .

I sold a pair a few months ago that were navy blue and in excellent shape. They got bid up to $200, so you getting a good deal. I agree that the older tan leather pads are probably worth more.

I ended up buying the Lefebvre goal pads for $100 + [sign in to see URL] Mike passed on them. Im pretty stoked because these are 36" inch pads and will fit perfectly since im 6"[sign in to see URL] vintage sets you find are 32-34 range. This was simply too good of a deal to pass up. Pads are in very good [sign in to see URL] look like late 80's,early 90's L's
.

They look to be the same as the pair I had except for size. Mine weren't real leather though. I think they were that Jenpro stuff and they weren't stuffed with deer hair. Very lightweight though.

Neums, The pads came in the mail [sign in to see URL] pretty sure they are made of leather, and they are heavy! im not sure if its because they are taller, but I wouldnt consider these "lightweight". I also think these might be older than the blue model you had, these dont have the outside calf wings,I think those were introduced in 90's,these are late 80's era I [sign in to see URL] construction on the outer sidewall and top outside roll stitching is different & mine have the tan Lefebvre stamp and shop address patch on the outer thighrise above the [sign in to see URL] pads are in tremendous shape, the boot isnt even fully broken in yet.
