What type of Itech Combo "plastic" mask is this?

It's about 15 years old, I'm told. I have 2 of them. I would like to find a cage for it and since this mask is discontinued I might have to modify one. And for the second mask, I was thinking of using it to make a plug so I can start making a fiberglass mask...

Any thoughts?

Much appreciated!

The beauty of the masque being plastic is that it will take little prep to make it easy to remove from moulding material. Just a bit of good mould release and some wax will make it super easy (as long as there aren't horrible etches/scratches/etc.).

Is that a brand new example?

Thanks Bunnyman666, yes it is a brand new, very clean mask... I got this off eBay for $17 US including shipping! The seller has a few more left . He's in Michigan.

Also I am looking forward to making a plug from this, I was reading what you wrote last night about how to do it, step by step... Thanks again!

The main thing you will want to get is some electrical tape and clay for the holes. You do not want to mould the holes in. Indentions are fine.

I don't know if this is the Itech that was dubbed "the widow maker", but I'do a bit of research about details on the Itech "widow maker" and make certain this isn't what you have. Great to make a plug and mould from; maybe not to wear.

LOL "Widow Maker" mask!!! Makes sense if it's it because this mask flexes too easily like rubber... If i do "use" it, it will be for street/deck hockey with just tennis balls for training/timing purposes.

BUT yes I'm looking forward to using it to create masks more than anything. :-)

::::::My planis to use it as a base and build up/shape the plug into Parent/Lindbergh-esque mask.

Thanks and Cheers!
