My Stephenson Prezel 1st attempt.
Here is my first crack at the Stephenson Pretzel, I now need to fine tune the wires and bend for perfect fit while alotting for thickness of fiberglass around the coathanger. It fit's really well and another thing. You can't solder coathangers.. I should know that. SO electrical tape to the rescue..

Re: My Stephenson Prezel 1st attempt.
Looks pretty cool...keep us informed... You might start a whole lot of people into baking pretzels. I was looking into buying a Dunc Wilson...might wait to see how the homemade one comes out

Re: My Stephenson Prezel 1st attempt.
That does look like an excellent start
Now I guess you could wrap saturated strips of fiberglass around everything and hold them in place with paper pinchers while they dry
That thing kinda reminds me of an old lampshade that's sitting in the dark recesses of my damp basement...

Re: My Stephenson Prezel 1st attempt.
Actually I am wire wrapping it right now. That will get rid of the electricians tape and hold them perfectly while I wrap the strips around the bars and saturate with Resin.. Will post photo tonight!

Re: My Stephenson Prezel 1st attempt.
Here it is wire wrapped. I am going to reenforce some areas tomorrow and try to get over to Johns to see if he has any scraps of fiberglass.
