Re: Jofa leg pad set
Mike, Do a search for "Craigslist Brown goalie" and some ads will pop up.
I see Brown stuff all the time...try Kijiji searches also.
search Craigslist cities/states like Minnesota,Minneapolis,Maine,Chicago,Colorado,New York,Boston,Detroit,Buffalo,New Jersey,St.louis,etc.
IYou will find the best vintage stuff in strong hockey markets and cities closer to the Canadian border.Minneapolis always has some gems..I found both my 250's there.
try this engine...
http://www.searchcraigslist.org/
type in John Brown goalie or Brown goalie.

Re: Jofa leg pad set
I saw those white Browns a few weeks ago, they were only size 32 and the guy also had a blocker and glove & wouldnt split up the set..if I remember correctly the set was pricey. The catch glove was the only thing in the set that looked interesting.
Mike, If I come across any JB 250's, ill be sure to let you know on FB...I have 2 sets at this point I dont need any more.

Re: Jofa leg pad set
I don't use any special search tools, but I have a few tricks to find items that probably aren't listed under the obvious headings. I also don't buy everything just to resell it. Most of the stuff I buy is a whole set of gear where I want only one of the pieces, so I keep what I want and sell off the rest. With the white pads I also bought a helmet and goalie pants, so the guy made me a deal on all three items.
