Active mask makers
Might be good to get a revised list of ant and all active mask makers for the fall new or old. Getting a custom mask is still on my bucket list, and as the calendar tells me time is moving on. KF

Re: Active mask makers
in no specific order:
Tom Connauton (THC mask) http://thcvintagemask.com/thcvintagemaskpage.html
Jeff Sands
Marc Poulin
Tony Deluca
Tony Prolio (sportmask)
I'm going to stray from the original post a bit but I currently own 8 custom fitted masks
2 from Gary Smith
1 from Marc Poulin
1 From Marcus Benjamin
4 from Tom Connauton
They all fit great to good but I was supprised on how custom fitted masks are not a guarantee on a perfect fit. I mean they all fit good and better than a replica obviously, but some leave you thinking "I don't want to wear this thing because I might get hurt" when comparing them to the ones that fit you perfectly.
There is a lot of variables such as quality of your head mold, type of masks style you choose, if you want padding or not, that factor into the outcome.
I strongly recommend custom fitted mask and love seeying other peoples masks, but there should be some thought put into them prior to discussing with a mask maker.
Feel free to ask me any questions or others on this board who've had customs
Go for it and good luck!!

Re: Active mask makers
thanks Cobra. Tom is my go to guy if I need a mask now because he has my mold and I've been verry happy with his masks.
Ken is the one looking for a mask though, perhaps you should reach out to him.
I personally believe some mask makers are better at certain styles than others and that the customer should go over all the specifics he wants in his mask and make sure the mask makers is comfortable doing it before going ahead.
Tom made this one for me, its a perfect shell of my head and face, no padding. The only specifics on this one was to build out the nose and mouth a bit so that, for one I can open my mouth without really shifting the mask any. Its a small detail, yet the entire mask still has a locked in place feel to it and the are no pressure points anywheres.

Re: Active mask makers
I'm leaning toward a Tom Connauton mask or a Jeff Sands mask. Love to see Sands do a take on the Heinz Alien.
